What are the Mac and PC differences in Power Point?

Does the PPT for Mac have fewer transitions, effects, or animations? Are
there any downloads where you can get more effects and animation?

Hi Trey,

If you are comparing current versions of PowerPoint (Mac version X and
Windows PPT 2003) then the answer is yes, the Mac version has fewer
transitions and no path animations. On the other hand, the Mac version
offers QuickTime transitions that are not available in PPT2003.

Rumor has it that a new Mac PowerPoint version will be announced in January
at MacWorld. If the rumors are true then I would guess that new features
will be available shortly in the Mac version.
