Hi;
I am using a Macally Icekey Mac keyboard on an XP PC. I like this keyboard
for several reasons and want to keep using it,
The only change in function using Windows caused by using this keyboard that
I need to address is the print screen function which of course on this board
has been replaced by the F13 key.
Is there a small freeware utility that I can possibly download that will
allow me the print screen function on this keyboard?
I know there are payware programs out here, but I don't really need all they
offer....just the print screen function in case I have to capture an error
message on the screen.
I can use the software available in Windows to capture photos and text off
the web, but capturing an error message from the desktop needs the print
screen function.
Can anyone advise on this please?
Thanks very much,
Dudley Henriques

Hi Dudley -

I would think you'll get a much quicker & more accurate response from
Macally - they certainly know their product & users of it will more likely
be found there. This one doesn't get much traffic at all & pertains to
Microsoft products [other than Office] for the Mac - of which there aren't
very many:)

I've been using a Macally iMediaKey for years, but I've never had reason to
hook it to a PC. However, my F13 key is also marked for Print Screen as the
upper register operation. That leads me to suspect that it would either
"just work" or that there would be provision for remapping it in the driver
software. Again, the mfr would be the best source of info.
