I was able to get my MacBook up and running by booting up
from the installation disk and running diskrepair. It
spent over an hour fixing permissions and briefly did
diskrepair, then it booted up without problem. Everything
seemed to start after a new user was created. All the icons
in the dock were question marks. Next restart it just restarted
over and over again without fully booting.
