Any first hand feedback on how well the Macbooks (non-pro)handle themselves
(especially graphics)?

I was pleasantly surprised. During the long flight over the pond I did
editing of some 45 minutes of HD video on MB 1.83GHz with 1.2GB RAM and
it did not choke. I was not expecting it to be able to handle a movie of
35 minutes with bunch of transitions so well. I did not try any photo
editing on this machine yet as I have MBP on my desk for Aperture. But
the MB surprised me (plesantly) and I'll keep it as my travel machine.
