I just got a new Imac and want to set up my mail, can I use my Hotmail
account and if so how do i set it up?

"httpmail plugin" will allow you to use OS X's Mail application to
download mail from Hotmail. Search for it at versiontracker.com.

hotmail is owned my M$. Somewhere deep down in the legals they used to have
a paragraph stating that they own every bit of info transmitted via hotmail.
I have avoided them ever since... not sure if that issue (or any other
risks) still exists, but wanted to point it out...

Mail app down - Mail has suddenly started crashing when accessing (displaying) unread mail files. This may be connected with Default Folder X 1.9.3, which went in just before the trouble started, but I've disabled that app without any change. Mail 1.3.3(v612) OSX 10.3....

10.3.4 - possible mail bug - I upgraded to 10.3.4 on three machines. All seems well, except for an intermittent problem in mail on one machine. The "reply to" and "forward" functions do not always work. This appears to be related to html content in the affecte...
