I am running RDC 2.0 Beta on a Mac Pro OSX 1.5.1 with 8GB of Memory.
After a few hours the memory usage of RDC is out of control, It is
using over 1GB of real Memory and over 2 GB of Virtual Memory.

Is this expected?

CHRIS

I have seen this same behavior both on Tiger and Leopard. Its very
frustrating as it locks up the entire machine after about 5 minutes of
usage

Yes, the Beta 2 of RDC has a NASTY memory leak. It brought my system to
its knees within a matter of hours.

The Beta 1 doesn't have this problem; I've reverted to it with no
problem, and the problem is gone.

I'm hoping that MS gets the issue fixed either by the next BETA or the
final product.

Haven't seen this bad of a memory leak in quite some time -- my G5 has
3.5 GB of memory and there was nothing left after a few hours....

Cheers,
Gerry
