Is there anyway to modify the default templates?

I have mine preferred date format and currency format which is different to
the ledger sheet templates. E.g. income sheet.

Modify the formatting on a new ledger sheet the way you'd like.

Delete any other sheets in the workbook (e.g., Sheet1)

Save the workbook as a template (.xltx) in the default My Templates
location.

Close and Reopen XL. The Gallery will now show a "My Templates"
category. Click your new template to insert a new ledger sheet with your
desired formatting.
