Are there are any assembly level debuggers for OSX?

It depends what you want to do but gdb can do basic assembly
level stuff. Try the man page or info pages. Also try typing help
at the gdb prompt.

I would like to debug (at assembly level) applications I didn't make
(and do not have the source code to). Does such a program exist?<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

Hmmm, in that case I suspect you need more than gdb.
Does adb exist on MacOS? Thats what I use on my Solaris box for
that kind of stuff, never tried it on a mac...
