How can one determine what update has previously been
accomplished in any Office product?

Not all files are updated at every update.
Check the version number of this file:
/Applications/Microsoft Office X/Office/Microsoft Component Plugin

It gets updated at every update...

Gee, it'd be nice if things on the above page weren't confused further by
the following statement:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Updaters Needed

Entourage X: The version for Entourage X should be Entourage X 10.1.5 . If
it is lower, download the latest updates below.... "
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
It states elsewhere that Entourage should be 10.1.4! Could it be that
Cupertino doesn't have the horsepower to summarize all the Office X update
info in one location so that there's no confusion for anybody, including
themselves?

That was fixed today - note that it was an error on a page
maintained by the MVPs, who work neither for Cupertino nor Redmond
(which is why it got fixed so quickly, too).

Thanks for pointing it out!

If you see any other errors, please email the webmaster. You can
