My wife is an Imac user and has never up graded her Internet Explorer
from 4.5 and would like to move up to a newer version. Can I make
sure that I do not loose the email that she has or the addresses? I
am a newbie to Mac and she only uses it for email.

thanks,
Ken

Drag the folders with her email in them to a back up disc.

I've used 4.5 and 5.0 and even tho 5 has useful stuff, 4.5 is faaar quicker
to load and get going. So I'm back with 4.5. Every so often I have to
reinstall it, it corrupts. [you said IE but I'm thinking you meant OE]
You drag Main Identity or somesuch folder to the desktop or elsewhere.
