Using a PC monitor with a PowerMac 7100

Hello all,
I have a Ultra Scan 1000HS Dell Trinitron PC monitor I would like to
use with a PowerMac 7100. I also have a Mac/IBM adaptor: 15DM/HF-10P
adapter. According to the monitor type, resolution, and Mode type on
the adaptor instructions, I've tried just about every combination with
no luck. Has anyone had any success in doing this?
