Thanks for your reply. I don't print from my laptop at home very often,
so I don't want to get extra software just for that, Currently, I print
to a .ps file, transfer it to my mac, and print from Preview.
Apple states that USB printers can be shared with Windows 2000 (among
others). It's hhelp details hhow to set up the mac for printer sharing,
and says to add a network printer to Windows 2000. But then it says to
consult the Windows 2000 directions to set it up (has Apple started
relying on MS to write usage directions? :) ). The directions in
Windows state that all network devices should be visible -- but the
printer is not.
