Where is page break preview?
This used to be a VIEW option before, but now it does not exist.
It was an easy way to remove or insert page breaks.
I don't seem to be able to do this now.

I'm in a worksheet in NORMAL VIEW.
In the help, it says to highlight the column after the page break to remove it, and then click on the INSERT menu, and click remove page break.
However, that option does not show up.

Any ideas?

True. Page Break Preview was removed in XL08.

If the option "does not show up" then either 1) the page break is an
automatic break (in which case you'll need to adjust margins or column
widths) or 2) you don't have the entire column after the manual page
break selected.

I don’t really understand this.
With the page break preview, I could move around all the page breaks to have the document print exactly how I want.

How do I do this now???

Do I have to play around with all of the settings by trial and error to get the layout I want?

Did this function get more difficult with this upgrade? Seems odd.

You can insert and delete manual page breaks in Page Layout view and see
the results immediately.

It's not as convenient as dragging the page breaks. I suspect MS's
usability studies indicated that not many people were using this feature
(which is the only real advantage to that view).

Use Help/Send Feedback... to let them know why it's important to your
productivity to reinstate that view.

Thank you - I just sent a long exasperated email to the send feedback page. I hope they listen. I can't believe that there is no page break preview for excel for mac. I am just livid! I worked long and hard on a form on my PC and it just doesn't work on the mac b/c it's spread accross 2 pages, and there is nothing I can do about it. Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!

Of course you can do something about it!

Page Break Preview might have made it EASIER to set the page scaling,
but dragging the page break in that view just adjusts the scaling factor
- which you can do on the Page Setup dialog's Page pane.

To get a two-pager to fit to one, it's easier to just choose Fit to: 1
page(s) wide, and leave the 'tall' box blank.
