Has any one experience with Pages, the Apple word processor this is part
of iWork?

Might it be released as a stand-alone WP? I really don't need nor want
iWork.

Pages *is* a stand-alone WP. It is sold bundled with Keynote in the
iWork suite, but it functions independently. I like it quite a bit.

Apple will be building on Pages, adding a spreadsheet sooner or later,
and iWork will become a powerful office suite for the rest of us.

iWork retails for $79, costs $74 at Amazon, and about $66 if you are
entitled to a discount at the on-line Apple Store (Gov't, Veteran,
Education, e.g.). Hard to go wrong, IMO.
