Post subject: Powerbook 190cs-Overriding password

Hello! I did a very dumb thing and forgot my password leading
from my screensaver back to the desktop. I was wondering if
anyone knew of a back door to override the password security
so I can use my laptop again.

Archived from groups: per prev. post (more info?)

You should be able to boot from floppy or CD and go into your HD and remove
the control panel and prefs from your system folder. then reboot.
