Hello,

Could someone point me to some place where I could download one of those
printer test sheet?

One of those that have multiple colours shades and images. I have to compare
two printers and I thought I could use those to print them out on both
printers
and then compare the results.

I found a few of those test sheets on Internet but there are all JPGEs,
which is a loosy format, I wish some PNG, PS, TIFF...

Thanks a lot for your help.

Miguel Gonzalez.

So download the files and save them as the format you want.

:-D

No mate.

I am looking for a good quality file. JPGE is a loosy format, if you have a
JPGE and save as PNG, you will have a PNG with the inheretance imperfection
of that poor quality JPGE.

:-)

Which is what those files are. Or at least that's what the test sheets that
I've used are.

> JPGE is a loosy format,

Irrelevant, as it's a first gen JPEG and was saved high quality. (Again, in
my experience, anyway.) Yes, there's data loss from the original file. No, it
doesn't matter, your printer simply isn't good enough to show the loss, _no_
current printer is good enough. An imagesetter could show the difference, but
imagesetters ship with software which generates test sheets on demand. If you
have an imagesetter, RTFM and determine how to generate the test sheets. If
you don't have an imagesetter, the test sheets found at the majority of sites
will be perfectly adequate.

You are making a false assumption.

You are, of course, free to carry on your search. Good luck.

Hint: Google is your friend.

And please don't top-post.
