Hello,
I just purchased a DLink wireless G print server (DPR-1260), and have
successfully printed to it from both of my Windows computers.
However, I'm not having any luck doing so via my Wife's iBook (OS X
10.4.11). While it appears Macs are not supported via the point-and-
click interface on the print server, I still believe I may be able to
get it to work.
So far, I've found that the DPR-1260 does have LPD support. So, I've
been attempting to create a printer to print to it. No luck so far.
It appears like the print job is sent (withour error), but nothing
comes out of the printer. One thing I've been yet unable to do is to
pick the PSC 1200 series driver from the printer model drop down (the
printer is installed locally). I can pick HP, but my particuclar
model is not listed.
Can anyone help???

I was going to ask you if you had tried adding the printer to Mac OS X
by supplying the print server IP address, but thought I would do a
Googlee search first. Sure enough, a quick Google search turned up this
web page where someone describes how they got it working (including
adding the print server by its IP address):

Mr. Roger,
This post worked like a charm. What I was missing was the open-source
HP driver. Once I installed that, the PSC 1210 printer was available
in the dropdown, and everything worked great! Thanks again!
