I am connecting two Windows XP Machines using Remote Desktop. I am
connecting from Computer2 to a Remote Computer1. I want to be able to print
to a Canon MP160 (port = USB001 / Share name = Canon) attached to Computer2
while I am accessing Documents on Computer1. If I use Word or Excel it does
not give me the option to print to the Canon on Computer2 (the one I'm
actually in front of. Local I believe). I edited the registry data on
Computer2 to allow all of the Ports to be resourced. Now a couple of printers
show up in the Printers and Faxes folder on Computer1, but still not the one
I'm trying to print to. Please any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Any reason why you post this to a Macintosh newsgroup?

Anyway, it's probably a case of the missing driver. Check the
EventLog on Computer1 to verify. If so, you need to install the
driver for the printer on Computer1.
