Problem wtih Classic under Mac OS X

Post subject: Problem wtih Classic under Mac OS X

Hello,

After installing Mac OS X completely new on a Apple G5, the classic
envirement does not work. A message is shown with the text like "No System
Folder found".

I do not have much experience with Macintosh so do I have to install a Mac
OS 9.2 before installing OS X to enable the Classic?

No, you can install it afterwards. But you have to install it; it does
not come with Mac OS X. m.

On my G5 it's on the software restore disk[s]. You *can't* install OS9.2 on
a G5, but you *can* install the system folder from the restore disk.
