I have a new Mac OS X 10.3.3 system. I installed developer tools
package. I see the XCode application. I do not see Project Builder.
Can anyone help?

Thanks
john

It's not there. Xcode replaced PB for 10.3; PB runs under 10.2 and
earlier. Xcode is "required" for 10.3

Thanks Spence,

So much for the 200 odd pages of documentation a current client sent me
on developing Java apps for OS X under Project Builder.

In ways it is reassuring how fast the development environment on OS X is
evolving, but it does make it a challenge to keep up.

There's not that much difference in the environments between PB and
Xcode and you will find that most of that 200 odd pages is fully
applicable. The only thing that is going to change is the exact
mechanism you will use to set things like target settings.

I haven't done Java under PB or XCode so far, but for Obj-C/Cocoa
development, the process didn't really change _that_ much.

I work almost exclusively in Java, and I can tell you that Xcode and
Project Builder BOTH let you develop and debug Java code quite well.
Not really very significant differences between the two.
