We're having a strange problem with printing from our Macs in our
office. We have a few Macs (OS X) and a few PCs, hooked up with a
Netgear FM114P, which is a combination router/print server. We're
using IP printing.

Printing one document from a Mac is fine, but if you print two
documents in quick succession the printer seems to lock up. It just
hangs forever trying to process the next document, so you have to go
into the Print Center, delete the job, and stop and start printing
again. This problem doesn't show up on the PCs.

After doing a little Googling I saw some advice to a similar problem
which was to simply reinstall Gimp-Print and Ghostscript, but that
didn't do anything for me. Anybody have any ideas what I should try
next?

Thanks in advance,
Francis

Why are you using Gimp print to print to a 4000TN. Why not use the
drivers that come with it?<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

Good question. I just took a closer look and it turns out I'm not
using the Gimp print driver after all. (I'd installed Gimp print
previously for another printer but ended up not using it for this
one.)<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->
