I come to you because I have no explanation for this new browser
behavior.
My tab groups have started coming up in red italics. I know I didn't
select this
and its a real bother to open tabs and have to stamp out the fire to
make them
black. Any help with ridding myself of this problem will be welcome.

No one seems to have had this before.

That's sort of the rub. It may have started with Safari but dismissed
because
I wanted to reset my default browser because it didn't take the day
before, mostly.
Links in newsgroups read with MT-Newswatcher were still opening in
Safari.

It was definitely present in Firefox 2. There were a number of odd
quirks in the Macbook and it had some cosmetic issues so I took
it in.
