RDC 2.0 is currently in beta so now is the perfect time to communicate
your bugs to Microsoft. You can do that on Connect
<https://connect.microsoft.com/macrdc>.
The importance of bugs and feature requests on Connect is partially
determined by how many folks respond and add their "me too" to a Connect
report. I suggest that you copy and paste the URL of your specific bug
report into forums such as this so that others are encouraged to visit
Connect and vote.
Because connecting to the Console is such a basic component of RDC I
would imagine it's probably available in RDC 2.0 but just not
discoverable. Ah, here we go... Have a look at someone else's Connect
report about connecting to the Console
<https://connect.microsoft.com/macrdc/feedback/ViewFeedback.aspx?FeedbackID=289948>.
Hope this helps!
