SimCity 4

Hi,
I have installed SimCity 4 on a G5. Everything seems to work ok,
except not all of the graphics detail for the terrain and cities shows
up on the screen.
The basic terrain looks white, with trees and buildings showing up.
The green or brown ground doesn't appear, roads don't appear even
though they are there and functioning. It looks like a snowscape with
cars driving around, people walking around.
Anybody else experience this problem? Is there a fix? I downloaded
the 4.0.1 update, but the same problem exists before and after
installing that update.

I have the same problem, and I'm on a PC. This is the second time I installed SC4. The first time I lost the texture maps. Just one day all the parking lots, sidewalks, etc just didn't appear. Same thing happened today but this time everything is white. I just loaded the game and there's the problem. It's weird that when I scroll around everything displays correctly, just not when the window is at standstill. Did this happen to you?
