Here is a suggestion:

Please make it possible to turn off spell-checking for one email. Right now,
if you send an email which you don't want to spell check (e.g. full of slang
or foreign phrases), you need to grab the mouse and click cancel. There is no
shortcut key you can use to exit spell check and have the message sent as is.
