Hi all

I have a USB device attached to my Bronze PowerBook via a hub. When I use
the VPC settings window (VPC 5.0.4), I see the device and can check the box
to enable it. However, when I close the window, the setting is not saved.
The next time I open the settings window the setting for USB shows no
devices in use.

Any help or ideas would be appreciated. VPC works fine except for this. I
thought it worked earlier this morning, but now no luck. I must have been
mistaken.

Just have a look on this thread just about installing an USB device on
Windows:
<a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://groups.google.com/groups?dq=&hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&th=6e0430bd680dc639" target="_blank">http://groups.google.com/groups?dq=&hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&th=6e0430bd680dc639</a>
When the USB device is well installed no need to check the box to
enable it. You have only and it's the most important to switch on the
device only when you are on Windows. And don't use it if the device is
switch on on the mac side, because in this case, it will not work at
all.
You get two machines.
Follow this advice and it will work if driver and software are
installed on Windows side.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->
