Hi
I have this problem with my wireless connection. Under the mac, i could surf
wirelessly. However Once i lanuch VPC 07, the windows xp doesn't detech the
airport connection. Worst before launch it, it prompts this
"Virtual Switch networking could not be started.
Permissions for the support files were set correctly, but Virtual
Switch failed to load. Please report this problem to Microsoft (Code
A1004). Virtual PC will run without Virtual Switch networking."
I am using a G4 Powerbook running OS 10.3
What should i do to get wireless connection on the XP? >> Stay informed about: VPC 7.0 Problem with the wireless |

First thing is to go to mactopia.com and download and install the VPC
7.0.3 update. Then try it. >> Stay informed about: VPC 7.0 Problem with the wireless |

Is there a fix for this problem? I have OSX 10.4.11 and Virtual PC 7.0 I moved up from Virtual PC 6.1.2 because it would not network?
This is the complete text of the error.
Virtual Switch networking could not be started
Permissions for the support files were set correctly, but Virtual Switch failed to load.
Please report this problem to Microsoft (Code:A1004). Virtual PC for Mac will run without Virtual Switch networking . >> Stay informed about: VPC 7.0 Problem with the wireless |

I would try the usual OSX Voodoo like Repair Disk Permissions and Check Disk
and try again. Possibly your Profile or the VPC PLIST file is corrupt or
has issue also.

You have VPC version 7.0.1 THIS version is NOT fully compatible
with OSX version 10.4.x.
So, to resolve the issue, go to www.mcatopia.com, download and install
version 7.0.3. Once you have done that, you will probably get a
message that the VM Additions are obsolete. If so, go to PC in the VPC
Menu bar and click on 'Install or Update Additions' and follow the
prompts on the screen. >> Stay informed about: VPC 7.0 Problem with the wireless |
