Here's my scenario. Work machine (XP), uses VPN to connect to the
internet it's corporate network connection.
Mac Mini (Leopard) sitting next to is for personal use.

I want to work through my Mac via RDC to get to the XP machine.
The only time I can get RDC to work, is when I'm NOT logged into my
VPN on the XP machine.
The moment I log the XP machine into VPN, RDC drops the connection.

Is there anyway to fix this or is this a security policy of VPN that
blocks this?

Thanks all.
Mike

Yes, this is a security setting in most VPN clients.

If your using the MS PPTP VPN client you can enable/disable split
tunneling.
See this Cable Guy article for help with that...

Note the potential security issues. Sometimes this is also a server
side function, ie. like in OpenVPN. If that is the case then you
would need to talk to the VPN admin about this issue...
