Post subject: RDC and Vista
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>mac>rdc (more info?)

I have been running RDC for Mac to a remote XP machine for a couple of
years with very good functionality [ie features and speed] With a
recent upgrade to Vista on a faster remote PC and running the client
on the same remote Mac, dual 1.8 G5, there has been a significant
performance hit at the Mac end, with laggy response and frequent
'freezes' for up to a minute before things return to 'norrmal'. Is
there a solution or do I have to wait for an upgrade to RDC on the
Mac. i've tried to work with fewer features enabled and lower screen
resolution but to no avail. Interestingly, running the PC version of
RDC within Parallels / Windows on an Intel Mac Mini to the same remote
Vista PC over the same link works without problems. Any advice
appreciated.
