Archived from groups: comp>sys>mac>apps (more info?)

I discovered a very strange problem with Entourage and Blackberry. We
are running Exchange in our environment, although I'm not sure how
much that matters. See below.

I deleted an email on my Mac and then I deleted another one on my pc.
I'm using Office 2007 on the PC and Office 2008 on the Mac.

I confirmed that both emails (the one deleted on the mac and the one
on the pc) appear in "deleted items" and are unread on the pc. (this
is expected!)

Now for the weird part...

A DAY after deleting the email from both clients, I checked my
blackberry. The email I deleted on the pc disappeared off my
blackberry (expected), but the email I deleted from my mac did not!
Since both emails made it to the deleted items folder on my pc, I
can't figure out what went wrong! Because the email deleted on the mac
appears in the "deleted items" folder on the pc, I would think that
rules out the issue being with the Exchange server itself...

Any ideas?

Thanks!!

I understand there are several issues with Blackberry and Entourage 2008,
but I don't have all the details. I've crossposted your message to
microsoft.public.mac.office.entourage, where people are more versed on this
subject.

Same thing with my blackberry. When I was on a PC and Outlook, as soon
as an email hit my outlook, it disappeared from my BB. Now, with
Entourage my blackberry never deletes until I manually delete them. I
hate that.

I is not easy to sync my BB with Entourage 2008 either. Basically I
"trick it" to get it to work with PocketMac. How? I sink my BB with,
iCal and Address Book. Then I check "sync with iCal and address book"
in Entourage.
