Windows Media Player for Vista malfunctioning???

Alright FIrst of all getting used to this proggram is proving much more
anoying than useful.
And yes, i am a little computer defficiant so you can probably already see
where my problem lies..

Ok though so Windows Media Playerwon't load on my computer anymore.
It first started where if i just would restart everything than it would
play fine... Now that doesn't even work.
Nothing does and i can't delete to try and reload it since it say i don't
have the authority.. I am the admin.

You should proceed with the following steps to reset the WMP in Vista.

Delete the following folder:
%USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Media Player

Locate and delete the following registry keys:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MediaPlayer
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\MediaPlayer
Restart the computer

These should solve it.
