If you figure it out, please post a solution! I've been banging my head
on the exact same problem, with an Airport Extreme Base Station. The
AEBS is in an inconvenient location for connecting a printer to its USB
port (on the wall in the stairwell), and my printer (HP deskjet 5550)
prints just fine from the iMac, but I can't manage to get the Vaio
laptop to see it, even though I do have the AppleTalk service available.
