Printing to Windows.

Hello everybody,


I want to print to a HP Deskjet 880C printer connected to a Windows
2000 machine from MacOS X (10.2). I tried to solve the problem by
installing PC MacLAN 8.1 on my windows computer. File sharing works
fine without any problems on my Mac, so the network seems to be
alright. I also configured PC MacLAN's print server to create a print
spooler with the PPD file located in my windows folder. My Mac finds
the spooler name defined in PC MacLAN and is also able to print, but
all printed data is messed up. Network traffic works, but it seems
that the printer doesn't understand my Mac.

Second question: can the same be done using a HP DeskJet 9300 printer
connected to a Windows XP Professional computer? In this configuration
I would like to print from both MacOSs: MacOS 9.2 and MacOS 10.2.

Any help would be greatly appreciated since I'm looking for a solution
for over a month now....
