My wife receives a number of WinWord documents with fractions in them (recipes for her Gourmet club). WinWord has turned the fractions like 1/2 into a single character. These characters don't appear in the Word:Mac v.X document. So "1/2 cup of olive oil" in the WinWord document turns into "_ cup of olive oil". Sorta makes recipes hard to follow .. Of course, then dinner is more exciting! Anyone got a solution? I've checked the "Preferences" in Word:Mac and don't see anything for it.
