What's the best way to get into wireless broadband so that two G3 Macs
using OS9.2, a Powerbook using OS9.2 and a G4 using OS10.2.8 can all be
able to use the broadband connection? I don't want to get into Airport
(cost, mainly), but I know there are several wireless ethernet routers
and PCMIA cards out there which I might be able to use. Most will, of
course, be geared for PCs, but is there any way I might be able to use
them?

I use a Linksys Wireless G Access point tacked onto my D-Link router.
Cost around $50.00 and works like a charm.

Was installation going through your browser?

I ask this because there is a sticker (covering ports) on the LinkSys that
says "Run CD first". (Mandatory "Window's joke" deleted as being tacky).

I always made my changes on the Asarte that I used for quite a few years (may
it rest in peace) with a browser

I'm not sure if anyone cares but OfficeMax has 10$ and $20 off "regular"
prices on LinkSys ("instant rebate" aka no mail to send or anything) this
week.
