Simple question: can anyone recommend a budget wireless printer that
will work with OSX 10.3.9. I was looking at the Lexmark Z1420 but
apparently it needs 10.4.4. Any other Lexmarks? Is Lexmark a reliable
brand?

Thanks.

Leo.

I have an HP DeskJet 6980 that works with my iMac running 10.3.9 and my
iBook running 10.4.11 (I've had it long enough that I can attest that it
works with earlier versions of 10.4 as well.) It was on special at
Staples when I got it, for something like $150.

I am using the 6180 all-in-one and I find it is excellent! All the
functions, including scanning, work fine with the mac through wireless.
It also has independent cartridges, which I find cuts down on cost, as
you only replace the colors that you use.

Good Luck in your hunt,

Fred.
