Xerox Phaser 3400 memory - I have a Phaser 3400 printing under OSX via a router with a built-in print server. I like this machine a lot. It is almost as good as my old LW 16/600 :-) It chokes on graphics every now and then, and I was told to give it some more

Xerox phaser 3400 working with USB ?? - Hello all, I am having endless problems printing from a 10.3.2 PB-FW to a xerox phaser 3400 connected via USB. None of this was happening under 10.2.x, and my tech rep says all of the 3400 he installs work OK when connected via ethernet. Is anyone..

Xerox Phaser 3400 hangs - I have found hints of my problem on the net, but no answers. I have a Xerox Phaser 3400 with card. It has performed well over the last year or so with OSX 10.2 and before, but since upgrading to OSX 10.3 jobs seem to hang. That..

Mac OS 10.3.2 cannot print to Xerox Phaser 3400 - I have a small network with 3 Macs all running 10.3.2 OS. The Mac that acts as the 'server' is unable to print to the Xerox Phaser 3400 even though it is set up exactly how the other 2 are (they print fine). The printer has a fixed IP address that is not.

OS x and Phaser 740 cannot print on different subnet - Has anyone seen this issue: Mac OS X computer on different subnet cannot print to a Tektronix Phaser 750 set up using TCP/IP -NOT- PC's on seperate subnet -CAN- print to it. Cannot use Phaser Link using web browser (mac or PC), cannot ping..

Problem: None of the household Macs will print on this (the only) printer.

As many facts as I can think of:

1) Previously on the old servers/domain this printer worked fine with all
Macs and PCs

2) I think I destroyed the Phaser's built-in ethernet adapter by being
slack-brained: It now has a Netgear print-server between the network and the
Phaser's parallel port. (fixed IP)

3) Windows PC's can print with the current setup.

4) I've got the file sharing working again for the Macs on new
server/domain. (MS Small Business Server 2003)

5) With the printer added as an IP printer with the supplied Phaser driver
(on the 10.5 mini) it stops "signal 10" in the console log.

6) I can't get the printer to add as a Windows printer: I authenticate
(again and again!) and the Add Printer dialog doesn't change.

7) With the printer added as an IP printer with the supplied "Generic
Postscript" driver (on the 10.5 mini) it stops "signal 1" in the console
log.

I've got a backstop: use WinXP on Parallels to print but that isn't going to
be popular.

Many thanks in advance for any help

Ed.
