Post subject: cannot access remote desktop

i use mac at home, however our company server is PC.
i can access my email remotely from home, however cannot
gain access to my remote desktop.
The error message reads:
Java Script
This portion of the Remote Web Workplace requires the Microsoft Remote
Desktop ActiveX Control. Your browser's security settings may be
preventing you from downloading ActiveX controls. Adjust these
settings, and try to connect again.

i have tried everything i can to correct this issue, however i cannot,
i use Safari as my browser...can anyone offer any advice?

Sounds like you're trying to access through a remote desktop website, which requires an ActiveX RDP client--won't work on a Mac.
You can d/l the RDP client for Mac from Microsoft's website, then try connecting through it.
