Post subject: backup Macintosh to mini dv

My son has a camcorder with a mini dv tape. He says that he can buy a
dv deck that can read and write tapes. Can I backup the Mac to the
dv deck?

You can probably use the DV camera as a backup device.

Thank you Pat Janes your link is very helpfull.

The DV deck will save wear on the DV camera.
