Only 6 bookmark folders shown

Hi There

I am using Firefox 2.0.0.7 on my Intel iMac


when I go save a bookmark, only 6 folders show up on the drop down menu
- that is my choice of where I can save a bookmark is very limited

As I keep bookmarks organised into folders according to their sites
interest area, this is very annoying - it means i have to save many
bookmarks into the general file of 'bookmarks' then move them at a later
time into the folder to which they rightfully belong

With all the other browsers I have used I have always had a choice of
putting the new bookmark straight into any of the bookmark folders I had
set up

And so I can't figger out why Firefox is limiting my choices
