Question: Need I buy Medal of Honor x 2 times?

When you go to the store, be sure to ask if the same version of the game
will run on both PC's and the apple OS. Most programs are either one or the
other.

Whenever you buy software you only ever buy it with 1 license. Therefore to
legally use the software on more than 1 PC you will have to buy as many
copies as you have PC's.

Saying that - there isn't a duplicate key check on MOHAA servers so if you
did happen to install it on more than one machine using the same copy, then
you wouldn't suffer any negatives.

That's not entireley true - some publishers allow(ed) for more than one
copy being installed: Bungie's Marathon series (those were the days...)
came with one full serial - for single & multi player games - and two
network (LAN only, not via Internet) serials which allowed multiplayer
games with the full serial computer as game host. You could even buy
additional serials (both flavours) at a reduced price without the need
of additional CDs. There have been other examples, too, IIRC, but with
Internet multiplayer becoming more and more a selling point this may
have vanished.

One other example is Bungie's "Spawn" method, where you have a
thinner multiplayer-only version you can install freely, as long as you
host the game from a full version.

Whateven happened to Bolo? If you wanted a serial number, you just

Ok guys, I was talking about mainstream games!!!!!????!!!!

And generally agmes you buy come with 1 user license.

In particular Medal of Honor comes with a 1 user license so in this respect
he will have to buy other copies (to be legal) if he wishes to install the
game on more than 1 PC
