Post subject: is printing cd lables possible to do in Quark on a PC inkjet
Archived from groups: comp>sys>mac>printing (more info?)

Hi there,
Before I ask my question, I would like to mention that I am not sure
if this is the correct area to ask my question, since I noticed that
this is the comp.sys.mac.printing area instead of
comp.sys.pc.printing. I tried searching for the newsgroup for the
comp.sys.pc.printing, but I couldn't find it. So if I am in the wrong
newsgroup, could you please refer me to where the pc version of
printing newsgroup is. Otherwise, here is my question down below.

I am tring to make cd jewel case and a cd label. I have purchased the
both of these types of papers, which include the perferations that I
can peel off of the paper. (almost like how a book a stamps works. You
just peel and paste.) So another words, it doesn't seem I need to
worry about clipping paths since there are already perferations made
for the exact size of the cd. However, the problem is there are 2 cd
labels on each slice of paper, and 2 jewel cases on each slice of
paper. So my question is, is there a way I can set the offsets of the
location of where I want the printer to start printing at on a basic
8.5x11 inkjet printer. I ask this because my printer is a very cheep
printer which only prints 8.5x11 documents. Meaning I can't do bleeds
nor color seperations etc. It's just a basic colored inkjet printer.
