Often heard Mac users grumbling about the troubles they’ve met while searching for a MTS and M2TS converter. That not means they are unable to find such a converter, but means they can not find a satisfactory one to work well for them. Because almost all the MTS converters they’ve tried always bring problems one or another, like complex user interface, terrible conversion speed, audio and video out of sync issues, etc. But I’d like to say it’s time to throw all the troubles away from now on, since recently I’ve found a nice http://www.pavtube.com/mts-converter-mac/ (MTS/M2TS Converter for Mac )via Google with luck, which has totally won my appreciation for its beautiful performance. Because of this, I’ve specially written this post to share it to you people, as well as express my gratitude to it. In my thread, I will only take how to convert MTS and M2TS files to AVI for instance to show its easy-to-use operation procedures. If you have this need, strongly recommend you trying about it.

Well, you can download it here:

Pavtube (http://www.pavtube.com/mts-converter-mac/)MTS/M2TS Converter for Mac

Step 1: Click “Add” button to load MTS and M2TS files generated by AVCHD camcorder.

Step 2: Click the drop-down list of “Format” to select AVI as output format.

Step 3: Click “Browse” button to specify a destination folder.

Step 4: Click “Settings” button to adjust audio and video parameters.

Parameters like codec name, bit rate, aspect ratio, frame rate, etc. in the following interface are all changeable.

Step 5: Click “Convert” button to start conversion

After finished, you can find out the output AVI files via clicking on “Open” button.

See, finished, isn’t it simple enough? Personally, I usually tick the checkbox “Merge into one file” to combine all the MTS and M2TS files I loaded to be as a single file. About its editing functions, I have not tried, but for its well performance in conversion, I’m sure they will performance beautifully in the same way.
