I have a Dual 1.8 Ghz G5. After updating to 10.3.5, Powerpoint crashes=20
immediately upon opening. My preferences are set correctly. I have 1.5 =
GB=20
of RAM and my other Office X applications open properly. I updated=20
Powerpoint to version 10.1.5 and it made no difference.

See this FAQ article for tips:
<http://www.rdpslides.com/pptfaq/FAQ00395.htm>

You might also want to try renaming the Blank Presentation template
(/Applications/Microsoft Office X/Templates/Presentations/Designs/) and
clearing the PowerPoint Startup folder (/Applications/Microsoft Office
X/Office/Startup/PowerPoint/) if nothing else seems to work.

Thanks Mickey. Unfortunately neither suggestion worked. I had a similar=20
problem with my CAD program and found out that I had used characters=20
that were unacceptable to the updated Panther. Once I chaged them, the=20
CAD program worked fine. I cannot find any offending characters in my=20
Powerpoint files, however.
