How to create web page shortcut on iPhone desktop?

Hi, I've been living in the Windows world for year. But recently
iPhone opens the door for me to enter the Mac world. It's wonderful
and amzaing!

I am not sure if this is the right place to post my question.

But here is the question: Can I create a webpage shortcut on iPhone
desktop? So it would be easier for me to access couple frequently used
web pages?

With the current iPhone firmware, when you make a bookmark, one of the
choices is: "Add To Home Screen". There are numerous services that let
you upload images and provide redirects, so you can get the icon of your
choice there, but the default icon is just a reduced screenshot of the
webpage.
