I often do it; after converting the .ac3 file to .aiff format, I edit it
with Sound Studio (www.felttip.com - shareware) inserting Markers
andthen Splitting by Markers.

I've used Amadeus II to achieve the same effect.

mmmh, i tried sound studio but i can't open the AIFF file in sound
studio.

is there a size limitation? the file is ca 1.1 GB. smaller files work fine.
how much ram do you, matfox, have?

or is th sampling maybe wrong? i just converted the ac3 straight into AIFF
without any resampling.

any idea?

That's weird...

No; I always open 1.5GB files without problems.

Good!

512MB

That should be ok, sampling must be @ 44.100.
Which app didi you use to convert the ac3 file?

 > any idea?

Not really for SS not opening the large file;
you can also try Amadeus II /hairersoft.com).

I use 0sex as well, and a52decX 0.25 to convert the .ac3 file.
