Post subject: media player
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsmedia>player>mac (more info?)
My son sent me a e-mail marked AVI when I open it, the
media player comes on. When I hit play, up pops a screen
that says in error with this code #cood11cd When I went
to help, it said no help available on this error. Please
advise me on this, much appreciated. Thanks Joe

I wouldn't know what to do. I suspect from your post and from the
headers of your message that you are actually posting about an issue on
the Windows version of WMP. The Mac verion we currently have simply
deosn't allow us to read avi files by default.

You should probably post in a group for the Windows version of WMP.
