display in message of photo attachments

In a sent message to which I have attached several photos, the photos
are side-by-side at the bottom of the email message, and cannot all be
seen. I don't know how to view them since there is no horizontal
scroll bar. So: Is there a way to make the photos display one atop
another? (That is how they are shown in emails I receive w/ more than
one.) If not, how do I view them without excessive and complicated
enlarging of the window, etc.?

I am relatively new to email, internet and OE, but have reasonable
computer skills. I am using OE 5.0.6 on an iMad w/ OS 9.2.1
