Does anyone have any information on how I can configure macs to display
pdf's in the Internet Explorer 5.2.3 Browser - Have tried configuring
file helpers - adding various plug-ins to no avail.

This is now achievable through other browsers including Safari,
Firefox, Camino and Netscape.

Does anyone have further information?

Mac OS X and above...

Alan

....don't want to really discuss it, but: what can IE do for you that the
other browsers can't? (ok, except bringing the joy of special
disfunctions to you). IE is dead on Mac.

But: IE doesn't look in Library/Internet Plug-Ins by default and uses
the users/user/Library/Internet Plug-Ins which is a bit irritating while
all plug ins are installed in the first path normally. And it doesn't
realize AdobePDFViewer.plugin as plug in when you try to load it
manually. My suggestion: Use it as it is are (better) leave it.

Greetings Frank

Adobe Reader 7.0 comes with an old style Internet Plug In for MacOS X
again, you seemed to have missed it..., but IE ignores it as well.
And classic versions had browser plug ins as well.
