I also seem to be having the same problem as Bobbi Bridge. Just migrated to
OE for Mac, can receive but can't send also.
Have set up a Hotmail account which (again) OE can receive from but can't
send thru.
When attempting to send (or reply) OE tells me "error; Mail could not be
sent to account 'hotmail'" and "explanation: HTTP error. The request could
not be fulfilled".

Have I set up OE in the wrong manner? (I know how to fix it in a MS windows
environ, but I am new to Mac)
